Description

Ziggie's has always been known as Denver's oldest blues bar, but new owners took over the place and remodeled it in 2008, have expanded the music selection by also bringing in R&B, funk, rock and jazz acts on Fridays and Saturdays. The other five nights are allotted to open mikes, alternately hosted by Doc Brown's Blues Band or the Blues All Stars. Whether you want to hone your chops with some stellar blues talent or just listen, Ziggie's is the place.

    As a Colorado born woman, I lived (and loved!) in Las Vegas, NV for 14 years...and never did I come across a saloon as bluesy fab as Ziggie's!!! Back to hometown southern Colorado and I knew I would never match Vegas' outstanding blues bar scene. Then...came Ziggie's. Just give it one night and you, too, will be sold. Be ready to catch your breath at the unbelievable rifts! Totally multicultural mix of clientele and such an international swirl of our evolving world! I dream of my next visit!
