Previously known as Misty's, Desert Rose and Talk of the Town, this cozy bar is located along gay-friendly Seventh Avenue. Though the name has changed, the location has been one of the Valley's most enduring establishments catering to a largely lesbian clientele. In its current incarnation, zGirl Club always seems to be crammed to the gills with Sapphic sirens of every stripe. From "bois" with spiky hairdos to jockish "in-betweeners" in shorts and T-shirts, ladies from the neighborhood gather here to watch The Real L Word with a beer in the back lounge or get their nails done while sipping a "Pop My Cherry" during Martini & Manicure Thursdays. Hit the place during its electronica night, and you'll likely find girls grinding on each other to Lady GaGa's "Love Game" or the latest Tiësto track, as well as the occasional femme fatale in black pleather.

    Ok, I guess this place used to be a little more classy and full of regulars and has gone a little downhill...However, there are so few lesbian bars in this state, I think it's worth the word of mouth for a revival. It's a small place with one bar, a line of small tables and a dance floor with a back door for smokers. The crowd is very mixed (age-wise). Go femme and be prepared to be stared at (which might not be a bad thing). At any rate, the people are really friendly and the few guy fellas that venture there are very fun.
