A flying fish leap from the Dallas World Aquarium, at Zenna, Thai and Japanese cuisines meet in a festive environment with a friendly, attentive staff. While, yes, it's a fusion joint, make no bones about it -- Thai food has a special place here. There is a separate menu dedicated to Thai entrées, like maw fish soup, and noodle dishes like Yen Ta Fo Seafood. The Japanese offerings for the most part take the form of sushi and sashimi. The entrée list also includes curries, more noodle dishes and fried rice plates. Regardless, it's an alternative to the pricey West End steakhouses overrun by tourists. This is especially true during lunch and happy hour. During the former, bento boxes only set customers back seven dollars. During the latter, drink specials run deep, as in 50-cent drafts. Beat that!
