Description

The best part about eating at Zaytoon's is the homemade pita bread, which arrive hot, pliant and puffy, right out of the oven. Go deluxe, and get the bread topped with zataar seasoning and a good glug of olive oil. Vegetarian salads like babaghanouj, tabouleh, and labneh are good for sharing, and for dipping up with the bread. For something meatier, choose kibbeh--deep fried meatballs seasoned with pine nuts.
