Be ready to stand in line at lunch, because this big room, with Middle Eastern music blasting, fills up quick with fans of the falafel, shawarma, and hummus sandwiches. What began at a small shop in Northeast Seattle has become a downtown office-worker favorite. (A second shop is on Pine St.) Though owned by a Palestinian couple, Zaina uses the heavy Greek-style pita, rather than the thinner Arabic kind, to better stand up to the fillings and sauces. You'll be hard-pressed to find better versions of this stuff in Seattle.
