On the second floor of Zabar's, the food shopping mecca, is a tantalizing, comprehensive collection of kitchen goods. Yes, a person can get a little overwhelmed in the over-packed aisles, but this is absolutely the place to get everything you need. A food mongers heaven - this place is synonomous with New York - the deli and smoked fish bar are drool worthy. If you go in, you won't re-emerge for a couple of hours. Great to pick up picnic food and walk over to Central Park.
