Absolutely one of my favorites. I love that the menu rotates with the season. The environment is always friendly and comforting. Well-priced to boot.
I forget what I had since I didn't order it. My date ordered the food. I believe it had turkey, bacon and avacado in it. Whatever it was, it was sinfully delicious. I even for the first time in my 33 years ate egg salad. It was certainly yummy. It didn't smell rotten like other egg salads. Would I revisit? Yes! Plus, the desserts looked highly delicious and bad for my healthy teeth and stomach.
The thing you're looking for most when you trundle the kids off for a meal is solidarity. Oh yeah, you may want high chairs or some certainty that there will be mac and cheese on the menu. But, mostly, you want to know that when your Junior dumps his fries on the floor ("Uh-oh, Mama, uh-oh!") somebody else two tables over just missed having their Junior do the same thing, and so won't screw up his face in disapproval.
