Description

Don't expect authentic Yucatan regional specialties here. But do anticipate some well-made tried and trues, including nachos, fajitas, chimichangas, and burritos. Mostly, the food is tasty and comforting, with a few stand-out items including creamy, buttery guacamole and chili-infused chilaquiles. Fried ice cream for dessert may not inspire the jaded at heart, but the young at heart still love it - and this family-friendly place caters to them particularly well.

You want a drink that will cool you down and give you a pleasant buzz, as if the furniture movers in your head finally straightened out the jumble up there. One sip and an ocean breeze is coming through the window and the party is getting under way.... More »

    You Too Can Yucatan

In this global day and age, I'm irked when a restaurant refuses to serve a menu item because it's "out of season." Even discounting frozen and canned products, it's entirely possible to source just about anything this century and get it fresh and... More »
