Yea's Wok is beloved by Eastsiders, but for different reasons. People who can't read Chinese think its hot-and-sour soup, Mongolian beef, and clams with black bean sauce are darn tasty (and they are!). People who can read Chinese are luckier, because they get access to the Chinese menu stocked with Taiwanese regional specialties: three-cup chicken with ginger and basil, tofu noodles with mustard greens and fresh soybeans, and dozens of other dishes that you will never get a chance to taste unless you make nice with the perfectly bilingual waiters and get them to translate.
