Description
Rustic has been around since the '70's, but for the last two decades or so, it's remained a pitstop for young, hip types living in Silver Lake and Los Feliz, with many hopping back and forth between it and the equally divey Drawing Room across the street. It's a slummer hotspot, fueled by loud rock n' roll on the juke and neon-lit atmosphere (other than sponsored liquor signs, the fanciest things in the place are deer antler chandeliers). It gets rowdier during big games, when team-garbed sports buffs and local grubbers come to watch their favorite warriors battle on numerous TVs. The food is a big draw with the latter crews, too. Rustic's mouth-watering bar menu boasts some of the best greasy grub in town: chili fries, fish and chips, hot wings and for those who like to really kick their day off, their famous Bloody Mary Breakfast.
