Tiny (read: nine stools and a counter), family-owned neighborhood spot offers one of the most potent, burning, truly unforgettable spicy-sour soups in the city, as well as good, simple stir-fries and curries. Praram chicken or beef in a rich, sultry peanut sauce is excellent, as are several noodle dishes and the sweet-and-sour tofu. No alcohol.
If you live in the Mission, you may have walked past Yamo Thai Kitchen dozens of times without even noticing the place is there.
