Wynwood Walls, the fascinating "outdoor museum" imagined into reality by the late Tony Goldman, will honor the visionary with its Art Basel program...
The addition of new museum quality works of art, including six wall murals; nightly video art screenings; and a group street artist showcase.

Event Review: Tony Goldman Tribute Mural
I haven't seen the Tony Goldman Tribute Mural but I've been to the Wynwood Walls and I must say that the beautiful murals and the fact that artists are given this open and gigantic canvas to expose their creativity raised my spirits a little closer to heaven. Park near the Wynwood Walls at NW Second Avenue and 25th Street, enjoy dozens of paintings and the Wynwood Doors exhibit, then head over to NW Third Avenue... More »
The concept is simple: Keep the spirit of Wynwood's emerging street art scene, only curate it more tightly. Commission 15 muralists from around the world to cover the outdoor space. Add grass, tables, and a basketball hoop. Open it to the public free of charge. That's what collaborators Tony Goldman and Deitch Projects did on a still-gritty stretch of NW Second Avenue, next door to Joey's Italian restaurant. At the bright, enclosed space, each painter gets his or her own towering wall, which... More »
