The folks behind the Florida Beer chain World Of Beer must have their hopes set on manifest destiny. The chain’s westward expansion bypassed Dallas altogether and set up shop in South Arlington. But as the waitress divulged on a recent visit, there are plans to open as many as eight World Of Beer locations in the DFW area soon. Despite the relatively high prices ($6 for a Shiner), they will be welcomed by beer fans drawn by the 500 varieties offered in each location. The atmosphere at the Arlington location isn’t bad, either. High ceilings and red brick walls flanked by dark wooden tables give World Of Beer a warm, relaxed feel.
