Description
When I think of lovely bars, I think of exposed brick and concrete and as little light as possible. Possibly some art. Thatas dank-LES lovely, though. To attain a more suburban lovelya Queensaa more family-friendly style is necessary, and the Woodhaven House Irish pub has it. Etched glass panels highlight a dark mahogany bar. And a dark Guinness looks charming in this environs. Come in for a drink after dinner, but beware: Woodhaven isnat open as late as your beautiful East Village hellhole of a bar. Or come through for breakfast/brunch. This is the former site of Kate Cassidyas and some say itas set to take over the burnt-down Bloomas as the areaas dominant Irish pub.
