Description

On the weekends, you may have to share a round leather booth with some strangers, but isn't it worth it to experience some of the worst karaoke in town? There's no shame here, folks, and this is one of very few bars located near a lot of great restaurants. Karaoke is $1 per song and the noise is rivaled only by the Chinese men and women playing dice at the bar.

  • 2003 | best place to watch a game of dice

    You feel really cool when you get to WINNIE'S and everyone in there is Chinese and playing dice and not really talking. It makes you feel like having some whiskey and a Tsing Tao and being cool enough to know how to play dice. Then a bunch of yuppies show up and do karaoke, but that's OK--it's another weird thing to watch. The videos that go with the songs are shockingly incomprehensible. The "Suspicious Minds" video is about spies. That is amazing. More »
