At this sleek spot at the Scottsdale Waterfront, owned by executive chef John M. Carver and the same seafood pros who own Eddie V's Edgewater Grille. Seafood doesn't come cheap, but for freshness and preparation, it's absolutely worth it. A lot of the dishes have a creative Asian spin, such as crispy cashew calamari, or salt and pepper Gulf shrimp with chile, ginger, scallions, and a soy-flavored dipping sauce. Aside from the entrees, everything on the menu is big enough for at least two people to share. Try the hot goat cheese and wild mushroom salad, crispy onion ring slivers with luscious blue cheese fondue, or the world-class, all-lump crab cake, an appetizer with way more emphasis on crab than cake.
Those who may have heard (and believed) people who say, "You can't get decent seafood in the Valley 'cause we live in a desert," might also want to keep an eye out for while-you-were-sleeping organ ha... More »
Yesterday, Josh Warner shared some of the finer points in creating fun and fresh cocktails. The Spa-tini at Wildfish Seafood Grille certainly fits that description. It's no wonder it's one of the ... More »

If they are serving it you HAVE to try the candied calamari. The lobster bisque was delightful and the seared scallops were huge! not to mention perfectly cooked.
Seventy-five-cent oysters? Five-dollar blood-orange margaritas? Five-dollar Bacardi mojitos? With prices this good, you could surely be forgiven for assuming that we were talking about some desperate hole in the hinterlands, offering incredible deals in hopes of luring someone -- anyone -- to spend happy hour at their place. But no. Unbelievably, all this is going on in one of the swankest dining rooms in the Scottsdale Fashion Square area -- the lovely, stylin', and downright... More »
It might sound like heresy to pick Wildfish over Eddie V's, but don't worry -- they're related. Wildfish has all the ultra-fresh seafood you'd expect at its big brother restaurant, only it's housed in a sleek, sexy spot at the Scottsdale Waterfront. Reserve a table in the dining room when you're up for a full meal with all the bells and whistles, or grab a seat at the happening bar for a casual feast. (Nothing wrong with calling martinis and raw oysters dinner!)This isn't run-of-the-mill... More »
We figured the seafood would be killer at this new Scottsdale hot spot -- after all, it's Eddie V's sexy younger sib. Sure enough, Wildfish has quickly become our favorite place to chow down on seafood so fresh it tastes like it leaped right out of the ocean into the frying pan. From the looks of the crowds in this bumpin' joint, we're not the only ones who're hooked. And while we'll gladly come back for another plateful of salmon or buttery sea scallops, the one thing we'll insist o... More »
