Great golf course just south of town. There are two 18's, and unlike any other course in the area. The Highlands is a links style course - no trees, a lot of scrub area along the fairways, and in some cases protecting the greens. The Lakes course has a lot of water - seven of the holes have water. In many cases, the water creates long carries off of the tee. Also, I think this 18 has the highest point in Houston - from #18, you have a great panorama of the city - the Galleria area, Reliant, the Medical Center, Downtown... It is a great place to take out of town visitors. They have very nice facilities, with a nice bar/grill (which, by the way has very good food), club house, pro shop, driving range, etc. They have valet parking, car detailing, teaching facilities, etc.
