Wild Bill's is a west-side watering hole where the party starts daily at 8 a.m. when doors open, and doesn't cease until last call looms. While the low-lit interior is a mash-up of décor details (light and dark woods, glass block and brick, buffet chairs, and western whatnot) the outdoor patio is one big party scene, with plenty of seating, smoking, and celebrating. The locals are a blue-collar, tight-knit bunch, downing cheap brews (chased with bags of Cracker Jack), distributing cartons of smokes to friends in need, or trying to outdo their barstool buddies on their knowledge of grizzly bears. With darts, video games, free pool on Sunday and Monday, live entertainment, and nightly poker tournaments, there's plenty to keep a newcomer occupied.
I've spent reasonable amount of time at Wild Bill's to see how the atmosphere was, it's a very fun place to be.The staff is very hospitable and kind.If you're lucky you may come in some time and meet Grace, Jim,and Aurora.Just a few friendly faces that welcome you upon entering the saloon. The wide variety of music that "Gentleman" Jim Brady brings to every karaoke night,to make sure you sing your favorite music. If your into reverse happy hours and good food Wild bill's Saloon is where you want to be.
A home away from home, where you are family when you walk in the door. If Gracie (owner) bottled her people skills and sold it, she would be a billionaire!!! Poker, Sports TV, outside smoking patio/BBQ (thx to Jim) with tv's and ping pong. 3 pool tables inside (free pool and food on Sundays) and karaoke...one stop shopping. Where else would one need to go to feel at home? She never hesitates to help someone in need, friend or stranger......Good job Grace and Jim!!
