    I love a dive bar as much as the next person, but when in New York (in Midtown in particular) it's nice to feel a little classy while you have a cocktail and yet still be able to play a solid game of pool. There's no door policy or pretension, just well dressed folks checking each other out while they sip. Definitely a place for singles to mingle.
