Weekday Happy Hours 

Unless you live around Loring Park, it can be easy to forget about the slightly obscured businesses that line the northern side of the park. There are several hidden treasures in the area that are definitely worth exploring. Joe's Garage is one of these spots. Though there are two levels of indoor seating, during warmer weather it's recommended that you choose the rooftop. There, you'll find darn pretty views of the Basilica and downtown Minneapolis. The happy hour is pretty decent, too. Mondays through Fridays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. special appetizers are half off in addition to rail drinks, tap beers (Summit, Surly, Stella, and Blue Moon varieties are available right now), and house wines, which are pretty cheap to begin with (prices range from $5 to $7).
