Not your grandpa's sushi bar. Wasabi Bistro has a bit of a Belltown complex, which carries over into the food. Even purists should be able to appreciate its New World twists, especially if they're fans of avocado. Slices of nature's creamiest fruit guest-star in just about all of Wasabi Bistro's inventive rolls. To wit, the Seattle Tempura Roll: Salmon, cream cheese, and avocado are rolled maki-style, and then the whole thing is coated and fried like a tempura veggie. Indulgent, delicious, and unconventional.
