Description

Squeezed between downtown and the Design District, VMidtown is the only gay anything in midtown Miami. It's also the most relaxed gay club in the county. Inside the inconspicuous space on NE 2nd, there's a generous bar and a small dance floor where on "Rewind Saturdays" lots of '80s music is played. Most gather in the big seating area outside, where on any given weekend there are so many guests, the sound of martini glasses threatens to drown out the clinking of crack pipes coming from around the neighborhood. While Twist is a bridge away and Discotekka has a steep cover, VMidtown is unpretentious and cover-free.
