Description

Virgilio Urbano is from Naples, which is a nice pedigree if you're a pizza man, and not only does he know his way around an oven, but his crew does, too. The menu at Virgilio's includes things you might find at a proper Italian restaurant -- pastas and salads, hot heroes, stromboli, chicken parm, calzone and a wine list -- as well as good, basic pizzas and killer garlic knots.

    From his 1,400-square-foot eponymous pizzeria just west of Belmar, Virgilio Urbano churns out wonderfully satisfying, thin-crusted chewy pies.
