This entirely serviceable Turkish cafe is mainly carryout, but there are two tables beyond the prep area in the front window that provide decent eat-in seating. The twirling gyros are not as succulent as some on Kings Highway, but the prepared salads are some of the best in Brooklyn, making it very easy to enjoy a vegetarian meal here. There are three types of eggplant dip, another composed of red chiles and walnuts, and a fifth that's mainly thickened yogurt and garlic, with a little fresh dill thrown in to mellow the flavor. The slightly spicy lamb adana are best among the grilled kebabs, and the kitchen has a light hand when it comes to frying sigara boregi (cigarette boureks)--thin pastry tubes oozing cheese.
