Description

Village Inn (or, as locals call it, the VI) is a must-see if you find yourself on Balboa Island. With a convenient corner location within walking distance of any number of island shops, this bar is known for its heavy pours and bottomless mimosas. It houses a large full bar split into two separate rooms and offers daily happy-hour specials, live music and several TVs beaming any number of sporting events. If you consider pool a sport, you're in luck because they have a table here.

Family came into OC from Iowa, and after seeing the sights, everyone ended up at the Village Inn. The annual walk with friends around Balboa Island to check out the Christmas lights ended with a nip or seven at the Village Inn. Wow, definitely not a place I go for food. Go get cheap drinks with the locals of Balboa Island. They have live music and lots of drunk people, but a fun place is a location that has been there forever.
