Villa del Sol is a perfect example of its type: the small, family-run, ethnic restaurant dishing up large portions of its native food, well cooked and well priced. The specialty, Argentine parrillada (mixed grill, listed on the menu as being for two but easily enough for three or more), is an excellent assortment of beef, pork, chicken, sweetbreads, and two kinds of sausage. But the appetizers (especially the house-made empanadas and the delicate omelets called tortillas), pastas, and other dishes - we love the alfajores cookies - all reward the orderer.
You don't have to be on that crazy diet -- we don't even want to spell it out (you know, the A-word) -- to get the urge to sink your teeth into a big piece of meat.
