Description

A staple of Victory Park, Victory Tavern is the moderate- to high-priced bar and grill that fills up on game and concert nights and empties out when the downtown entertainment district does. The bar, a huge rectangle in the middle of room, is covered in warm cherry wood, as is the ceiling and the walls. The bartender, dressed in a shirt and tie, offers a drink and points to the handful of bar taps on his side of the counter. A recent night offered Blue Moon, Rahr and a few other domestics. A few flatscreen televisions on the back wall show sports, which, on some nights, are played live just a few steps away at the American Airlines Center.
