Since 2008, this sleek restaurant has been banging beats, showing legs, muddling house-specialty cocktails and slinging craft beer. The food is just as varied as the drinks, reaching for the upscale nosher. That"s true even of the simple lollipop lamb chops with honey balsamic, the chicken and waffles and the macaroni and jack cheese with crab and pancetta. The house cocktail, the Victor Tango, is a mix of cucumbers, mint, tequila, lime juice and house-made simple syrup. The wine list runs the international gamut of whites, reds, ports and more. The craft-beer draft and bottle selections also aim high, with options such as Stone"s Arrogant Bastard, Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA and Allagash White. Victor Tango"s is warm and comfortable, but still sleek.
Victor Tango chef Greg Bussey is a chef's chef. By that, I mean so many other cooks in Dallas mention Bussey's tables as one of their favorites to dine at. After meeting the soft-spoken, quick-to-smil... More »

Moscow Mule is my favorite drink, but all of the cocktails are delicious! 1/2 priced on Mondays. We always go with a group and split a bunch of things. The menu changes, but the flatbreads, lobster sliders, and chicken & waffles (they're okay >> go to Hatties for the best C&W) are all popular.
If you're in the mood for something out of the ordinary, Victor Tango's aims to please with a menu that includes roasted bone marrow (sounds disgusting but is quite good). Not feeling daring? Then we suggest the chicken and waffles, paired together as one delicious dish at Victor Tango's. The history of the unlikely pairing is murky at best, with most accounts referencing its introduction into black culture in the 1800s, but a trip to Victor Tango's is all you need to understand why the two... If you're in the mood for something out of the ordinary, Victor Tango's aims to please with a menu that includes surprisingly scrumptious roasted bone marrow. It tastes like the fat from a juicy rib-eye steak, which might not sound very appealing either, but trust us on this one, if there ever was a time to pull the trigger on the unconventional choice, this is it. Served with toasted brioche and onion confit--sweet caramelized onions seasoned with herbs and balsamic vinegar--three... More »
