The Via Tribunali chain was founded to bring authentic Neapolitan pizza to the Northwest, complete with a Neapolitan chef and certification from the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana. To an American palate, the ultra-thin crust can seem soggy at the center-in fact, the kitchen actively discourages eating with your hands by not slicing up the pie (insert eye roll)-but the fine layer of toppings, high-quality ingredients, and blistery crusts have won many fans. The Queen Anne location has more of a tavern-meets-trattoria-meets-millionaire look than the Capitol Hill original's vaulted, gothic drama, but it's just as handsome.
