This wine bar has an excellent selection of flights and glasses, the vibe is stylish and friendly, prices are moderate and the menu is creative. Why isn't it filled every night? Put it in Downtown Seattle and it would be. All of the food is designed to go with wine, from the small plates - sea scallops and pork belly, grilled baby artichokes, clams - to the entrees, such as beef bourguignon, wild mushroom ravioli, lobster risotto and hazelnut-crusted pork tenderloin. On weekends, the place hosts a nice brunch, with eggs, burgers, a basketful of benedict preparations, and a positively awesome cherry brioche French toast.
