For true rock climbers, the best climbing gym is, of course, outside. (Duh!) But for the rest of us 9-to-5-ers, Vertical World is a solid replacement for the natural world. They have routes for everyone and a fantastic boulder room, but one aspect truly sets these guys above the rest: They change their routes often. This place won't grow stale for even the most dedicated gym rats. They also have cardiovascular equipment and weight benches, and a slew of camps and clinics, both indoor and outdoor. The staff is unpretentious, although most of them could climb a vertical concrete wall. And lastly, there's plenty of eye candy, a great way to stay motivated.
