Valencia Whole Foods is a grocery, but despite the green awning encircling the shop's exterior, it has no affiliation with that Texas libertarian's ever-expanding chain of organic megastores. The wares, however, aren't dramatically different - decent if pricey vegetables, a good cheese selection, and Niman Ranch deli meats. The refrigerator case contains an assortment of plastic-wrapped sandwiches - turkey and avocado; grilled tofu; and pesto, cheese, and tomato, for example. There's also a salad bar where customers can throw together their own concoctions.
