This adorable, stylish little wine bar with marble-topped bar and bentwood chairs is an oasis of civility and tasty food and drink in the lower Haight. In addition to the swell Italian wine list (divided into regions), there's an enticing menu of affettati (wonderful sliced salumi plates), antipasti (including salads, cooked greens, excellent cheeses, and crudo), and the whole range of Italian sandwiches, including panini and flatbread piadine.
