Urban Bistro is Avner Samuel's reanimation: a revival of favorites from another life such as "my mother's salad" and crispy Moroccan beef cigars. Tucked in a crisp but comfortable dining ambiance with chunky wood accoutrements and Plexiglas renditions of vegetables, Urban B also has delicious gnocchi and astounding calf's liver--notable if your childhood was traumatized by this stuff.
