The Uptown Diner is a popular neighborhood spot, serving from early in the morning to late at night. Inside, with an atmosphere that feels like a side-of-the-highway haven, you"ll find a menu focused on diner staples like sandwiches and bacon and eggs, usually for under $10. If you're dining Thursday to Saturday between 3 and 11 p.m., you can head back a couple of generations and get a cheeseburger, fries and malt for $9.25.

    They are more interested in getting you in, taking your money, and getting you out than serving you. They definitely do not like groups of more than 4. - expect to be put off.
    Food is so-so. Customer service is lousy.
    A well-known weekend spot for those coming from the bar or waking up wth hangovers, apparently. Spare yourself the grief.

    Busy breakfast diner. Loud, packed, yet pretty fast. Traditional breakfast combos.
