Across the street from Texas Christian University, The Pub has catered almost exclusively to college students since 1981. It's a no-surprises kind of place: no special nights, events or bands. Where Irish joints sport the Celtic knot, this spot is all about school spirit. The walls are covered with university flags, and the beer is served in cups equally suited for a beer pong table. In back are a pool table and photo collages of partying students representing patrons dating to the '80s. But you have to be a solid regular to pass the cut and make it on the wall.
