Description

Homemade, machine-rolled tortillas, an 1800's Mexican ranch-house aesthetic and a wide-eyed, gap-toothed mustachioed mascot are only part of the charm behind this Mizner Park location for Uncle Julio's. The small chain operation has sister locations in Texas and Illinois and is best known for fresh salsas, a signature frozen drink known as the Swirl (half frozen sangria, half frozen margarita) and an innovative take on Tex-Mex fare. Entrees of quail and frog legs come out alongside plates of sizzling veggie fajitas, hearty tamales and bacon-wrapped shrimp.
