Description

Heads up, sushi-craving fashionistas. This sophisticated sushi joint serves maki late into the night, and its atmosphere is decidedly clubby. Umi offers both traditional and innovative sushi rolls, along more substantial fare, from udon soup to teriyaki. True to its name, the sake house provides more than 45 varieties of rice wine, as well as specialty cocktails like the shisojito, made with the Japanese herb shiso instead of mint.

    They do it a little bit different than most places I’ve seen. I love spicy food because of my time down in Houston. They have rolls that are really spicy that have jalapeno, cilantro, lime and different things like that -- really good combination of taste to them. They have a really nice bar as well.
