Now you don't have to drag your ass to Murray Hill, Queens, to get the best Korean fried chicken. The logo of Jackson Heights' U.F.C. (stands for Unidentified Fried Chickens) features a chick popping out of a flying saucer, and the particular distinction of this fast-food joint lies in its offering four, rather than the usual two, flavors of fried chicken. Whether you'll be able to tell the difference is another matter: all are sweet, salty, and slightly hot. Nevertheless, we preferred the spicy mustard formulation, which comes with the usual pickled daikon or mayonnaisey slaw; fries or sweet potato fries are extra. As with all such chains, a handful of chicken-containing salads are also available. Skip 'em.
