A mainstay on Washington Avenue for over 15 years, Twist is the mother hen of South Beach gay clubs. Inside the spacious club you'll find seven different bars; a tiki bar, something called a "Frolic Lounge," a salsa room in the bottom floor, and a house music dance floor at the top. Still one of the few places where you can find go-go dancers at midnight on the beach, Twist is open seven days a week from 1 p.m. to 5 a.m. It's conveniently located near the popular 12th street gay beach, and the 11th street diner where Will Smith's "Miami" was shot.
