With seven little tables, seven seats at the bar, and faux wood paneling, Tsukushinbo's got a worn but tidy feeling that some might find wanting in chic but will strike others as auspicious. Sit down at the bar. Joke with the sushi chef. Receive your little paper with its list of sushi and its pencil, and mark as much as you want. You're not going to break the bank here. Mark the Tsukushinbo roll: imitation crab (which works beautifully in this roll, for some reason), cucumber, avocado, tobiko, and a mysterious spice mix.
