You won't find Brad Pitt in a chain mail miniskirt, but you will find the food fresh and refreshing at this Turkish spot. The baba has been made from toasted eggplant, giving it a smoky taste, and the salad of white beans called pilaki is particularly sharp and creamy. Kebab-wise, go for anything made with ground meat, especially the self-named Troy kufta, little shotgun shells-an extravagant eight to an order-exploding with beefy flavor and oozing onto the polished rice below. The cinnamony vegetarian stuffed grape leaves also glow with flavor.

The dolma at Port Authority newcomer TROY (named after the lameass movie?) are quite obviously homemade: outsize grape leaves gloriously stuffed with oily, dill-scented rice and crunchy pine nuts.
