Tom and Marna Sumners have now doubled the fun with two locations of Trattoria Stella, their hip neighborhood bistro -- one on the west side, one on the east. Both are comfortable spots, with eclectic menus that aren't afraid to take chances -- and regulars who appreciate the results. Sunday brunch is particularly popular.

    Enjoyed my first visit, but not my second. I knew what I wanted and the first time I saw the server, I ordered my entree. I was still waiting 50 minutes later to receive it, while other diners around me that had ordered after me had already received their dinners. Bill was slightly off, too. I like how cozy and friendly the place can be, but I don't trust that I'm going to receive service worth paying for.

    Honestly, this is the best pasta in Denver! I typically shy aware from Italian restaurants after living in Italy for 6 months, but not Trattoria Stella! They have the cutest patio, delicious bread, great wine selection, and the pasta dishes. The pasta dishes aren't to big and overwhelming, but absolutely amazing!
