For those who like their beer cheap (well, by Manhattan standards anyway) and their kitsch way over the top, there is the Trailer Park Lounge and Grill. As you might expect, the décor is Š not subtle. The owners have created a larger-than-life caricature of their native South Florida, a wild mish-mash of palm trees, tinsel, antiques, mannequins, Christmas lights and a fake trailer exterior. The drink menu is on the fruity side, including cocktails like the Paradise Hawaiian Style (three kinds of rum, pineapple brandy and passion fruit juice served in a real pineapple) and pitchers of margaritas in flavors like mango and strawberry. The beer menu keeps it low-brow with cans of PBR, Rheingold and Schaefer. Order some classic American comfort food to soak up the booze, including everything from burgers and Sloppy Joes to nachos and tater tots. During happy hour (4pm-7pm, daily), you can get $3 beers, $5 margaritas and $6 off all margarita pitchers.—Keith Wagstaff
