As a local rep for PBR, Alissa Anderson visited a quite a few bars in this town. The next logical step was to own a bar of her own. So in October, 2008, she and her husband bought the former Club Boca, which had been vacant for close to a year, did a quick renovation that involved moving the bar to the front near the window, and opened in a flash. Just as quickly, the bar was attracting regulars, especially service-industry folks, and Anderson started bringing in bands, DJs, art shows and a whole lot more. While the place still doesn't have a sign up, it's pretty easy to find: Just look for the neon beer lights and lots of people in the window.

i love this bar.. from the second i stepped in i knew i had found my cheers... all the bar staff & owner are awsome, and treat their customers like gold... great drink specials every day,and 3-5pm $2$ you call its.. they have live bands and dj's that cover a pretty nice variety of musical tastes.. did i mention they also support the local art scene, and have walls of art by local artists that change all the time, and add a perfect ambiance... for those who like to play games they have monday bingo, free pool ALL the time, a badass pinball machine, and-hehe--bean bag toss... large loungue area, with tons of seating, and a dance floor to shake that thang while the badass dj/band do thier thing... come to the best kept secret denver should know about- -tooeys, 1521 Marion St, denver 303--586--5075
