Description

When Tony's Market opened a downtown store, it added a few amenities that have made for many happy hours. This Tony's not only has all the features of its suburban siblings, but there's an eat-in bistro where you can get burgers, pizzas and salads for lunch and dinner, as well as breakfast and an array of appetizers. Some of our favorites: meatball sliders in Tony's homemade sauce; Mile High wings (order them hot) that really fly; and an incredible antipasto plate featuring Tony's meats and cheeses. On Friday afternoons, the bistro even brings in live music. And on any day, Tony's has one unbeatable feature: Since the liquor license covers the entire store, you can buy a happy-hour beverage and sip it while you shop.

And Tony's also has a more formal happy hour in... More »

Take your kitchen battle axes -- even the serrated ones -- to any of the Tony's Markets locations, where a professional knife sharpener will have them gleaming and ready to slice and dice whatever fabulous slab of beef you'll buy from the butcher afterward. Sharpening costs $4.98 per blade and is only available one day a week at each Tony's (go to the website for phone numbers and information). It's a steel. More »
