Tony Pasquini opened his first restaurant back in 1986, when he was barely of legal age to have a liquor license. In the years since then, he’s opened and closed restaurants, franchised and bought back others. But the Pasquini’s concept is still going strong – even when it’s going by another name, as is the case with this Cherry Creek restaurant. Tony Pasquini originally opened it in early 2012 as a Pasquini’s, but then changed it to Tony P’s because of a family dispute. Which is fitting, in some ways, because no matter what you call it, Tony P’s is definitely a family spot, with a comfortable atmosphere and a menu full of traditional family recipes. But there’s also an emphasis on healthier options (including low-calorie, gluten-free and vegetarian) here, with a focus on local food producers.

I think Tony p's was having a bad night. I'd give them a try. They've got killer Happy Hour deals and the food is usually fresh and hot. One bad review does not a Happier Hour make.
