You don't have to be a country music fan-or even a fan of Mr. Keith's-to enjoy the down-home cooking and two-stepping to high-energy live bands at this popular eatery and watering hole. Fifty plasma screen TVs help fill this 20,000 square-foot bar with sports fans and music enthusiasts and pretty much anyone hungry for good grub and a fine time. A glass-enclosed VIP lounge and not one but two private indoor barns are great for special occasions; the rest of the time, table service will get you some of the best burgers, chops, and steaks (we like ours chicken-fried, with a side of gravy, macaroni and cheese, and fried okra) in town. Distinctive starters include the artichoke and spinach dip with red, white, and blue corn chips, and the chicken fingers are also memorable and tasty. Pull on your boots and head to Toby's for down-home eating that'll have you crooning.

Did you know inspectors found paper clips and “unidentifiable particulates” on the ice at this restaurant in December? They received a “Grade: D” from health and safety inspectors. There was also brown/reddish organic matter found in multiple bar gun nozzles, and the manager didn’t have a Maricopa County Environmental Services Department issued card. There’s more information from the records here: http://www.yuckthisbarandgrill.org/mesa/

so fun! great music!
The history of American music is littered with legends about "pickup bands," units of players so adept and quick on their feet that touring songwriters needed only to show up in town and contact the band to back them at a bar or club gig. The members of the karaoke band at Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill in Mesa are kind of like those legendary sidemen, only they back up a different kind of performer: the warbling drunkard stumbling on stage to belt out a rendition of "Neon Moon."...
