River Oaks' Tintos blends both Spanish standards such as albondigas and patatas bravas with its own twists on traditional tapas, such as esparragos gratinados topped with crab meat, red peppers and a poached egg or green apple slices drizzled with honey and topped with crumbles of blue cheese. Even the dessert menu features some fun twists, like a chocolate flan that's rich with both caramel and cocoa flavors. The wine list is, predictably, Spanish-heavy but features some good deals as well as a wonderful ruby Port to end your meal.

Great food and wine! Lois Albez is an awesome singer!
The worst experience I've had in Houston, went out to dinner with some friends who come from Mexico and I fell shame, the bathrooms did not work and smelled bad, the treatment of the waiters was regular and worst of all the treatment the owner, we complain about the bathrooms and the response was very poor, arrogant and rude not only to us, but with other tables were complaining about the non-functioning bathrooms, amazing in a restaurant, I really do not recommend this place for nothing, they should close it.
