Description

Since it opened in 2002, Thuyen Vien has attracted eaters not just because it seamlessly replicates all its meats with soy, but because it also nails the complex flavors of Vietnamese cuisine in a way few other Vietnamese vegetarian restaurants can. The curry soy "chicken," a lovely stew of coconut broth, chile oil, potatoes, onions, tofu and fake chicken, is excellent.

    This is hands down my favorite Vegan restaurant EVER. The food is always delicious and consistent and the owners do a great job of always updating their menu with new specials. My personal favorites are Sushi, Garlic Chicken, Pumpkin Curry, and Kung Pao Chicken. They all have their own unique flavors and you can really taste the freshness and quality of ingredients they use. Unsure of what to order? They will give you excellent recommendations or try to accommodate any food craving you might have.
